TechArt Shows More of its New Porsche Boxster (981) Tuning Program


After a giving us a first taste of what it is preparing for the new generation of the Porsche Boxster (with the internal codename 981) in September, German aftermarket tuner TechArt released a fresh set of photos and some additional details on its styling and performance program.

"Our aim was to give the Porsche Boxster an even sportier expression with intelligently applied exterior components while simultaneously underlining the elegant look of the vehicle", says TechArt's Managing Director Thomas Behringer.

TechArt Promises a Power Boost at the Touch of a Button for Porsche Panamera Diesel


If it's added power that Porsche Panamera Diesel owners want, then TechArt has a solution with the release of a new performance kit named "TA 070/D1" that includes a software optimization for the 3.0-liter V6 oil-burner.

With the reprogrammed ECU, output is bumped from 247hp (250PS) to 276hp (280PS), with maximum torque climbing from 550Nm (406 lb-ft) to 600Nm (442 lb-ft).

Techart Debuts Styling Upgrades for 2012 Porsche 911 Carrera and Carrera S in Geneva


The 82nd Geneva International Auto Show welcomed the world premiere of German tuning firm Techart's first batch of styling goods for the new 2012 Porsche 911 series, which is also known by its codename '991'.

For a more individual look on the outside, Techart offers several parts including a two-piece front spoiler, aero-wings integrated into the front air inlets, side skirts, a rear apron that houses a diffuser and a racecar-like rear wing.
