Much in the same way as it offers reproductions parts for the 1965-70 Mustang bodies, the Blue Oval is now venturing further into the past with the release of a full body shell of the 1940 Ford Coupe, a favorite among hot rod builders.
"The 1940 Ford Coupe has always been highly sought after and collectible," says Dennis Mondrach, Ford Restoration Parts licensing manager. "Unfortunately, good, solid restorable examples have become hard to find and expensive, so this faithful reproduction is bound to prove popular."
